Value that remains open to everyone

Dancing should not depend on income.

That is why €50 is our inclusive access contribution to the club – not the price of what we create together every Sunday.

No additional donation is required. A donation does not change your training or participation options.

Official receipt for voluntary donations Recognised non-profit · potential tax relief in Germany
Required contribution €50 per calendar year
Monthly average €4.17 with membership for a full calendar year
Commercial comparison €1,300–€2,200+ modelled per year

A typical Sunday

Five coordinated dance sessions in one day

You can build shared foundations, train three dance styles and then practise what you learned at your own pace.

  1. Shared basics & skills 30 minutes
  2. Salsa 60 minutes
  3. Bachata 60 minutes
  4. Kizomba 60 minutes
  5. Shared practice evening about 2 hours

Up to 3.5 hours of guided training plus around 2 hours of practice on a full Sunday.

Access and value

€50 opens the door. The value behind it is in the thousands.

Our contribution is not low because the programme has little value. It is low so that everyone can take part regardless of income.

Your required access contribution

€50

€4.17 per month over twelve months

Salsa, bachata, kizomba, skills training and the practice evening are included. A donation does not affect access to training.

Transparent comparison range

€1,300–€2,200+

about €110 to more than €185 per month

A purely mathematical price comparison with published regional offers, based on the available time volume.

Mathematical ratio

2–4%

only in this complete maximum model

The low contribution is made possible primarily by volunteer training, organisation and club work. Donations fund actual club expenses.

Maximum model for a complete future operating year with up to 50 offered training Sundays: up to 175 hours of guided training and around 100 hours of practice. Actual availability depends on the published calendar, personal level and attendance. Membership still ends on 31 December when joining later.

The comparison relates exclusively to the mathematically available time volume. Teaching concepts, trainer structures, venues, levels, replacement options, holiday rules and additional services differ. It does not equate the offers or their quality.

Voluntary solidarity

Every amount is voluntary.

Those with more financial room can support the inclusive club model particularly strongly. The amounts are non-binding examples, never an expectation.

Every amount helps: for example €25, €50, €100 or any freely chosen amount. The larger guide values show what may be possible for supporters with greater financial capacity.

Make it possible

€350 per year

about €29 when viewed monthly

A helpful orientation if you have financial room and would like to share responsibility for the solidarity model.

With an official donation receipt · example at a 42% German marginal tax rate: around €147 potential tax relief.

Cover more

€900 or more

€75 when viewed monthly

One possible orientation for people with a great deal of financial room.

With an official donation receipt · example at a 42% German marginal tax rate: around €378 potential tax relief.

For our non-profit work

Your support helps fund actual club expenses and preserve inclusive access over the long term.

Simplified tax examples

What could this mean for your tax?

In Germany, donations may be claimed as special expenses. The higher your personal marginal tax rate, the greater the potential relief from the same donation.

Donation approx. at 30% approx. at 42%
€350 €105 €147
€500 €150 €210
€900 €270 €378

Example: at a 42% marginal tax rate, a €500 donation could result in around €210 less German income tax.

Simplified guidance, not tax advice or a guaranteed refund. A donation is not reimbursed one-for-one by the tax authority. Your individual tax return, marginal rate and statutory deduction limits determine the actual effect.

What donations make possible

Volunteering creates the value. Donations fund actual club expenses.

The required contribution is deliberately kept low. Voluntary donations help cover costs that the club actually incurs.

Training & events

Venue and event costs and other expenses where they actually arise for offered sessions.

Sound club operations

Insurance, association and administrative costs and the proper organisation of the club.

Quality & reliability

Technology, teaching materials, education and training, and reasonable operating reserves where approved.

The commercial comparison range is not the club's funding requirement. It illustrates the mathematical value of the scope made possible by volunteers. We will publish specific costs or fundraising targets only when documented annual figures are available.

Two paths, the same impact

You can help as a member or simply as a supporter.

You do not want to become a member?

A voluntary donation without becoming a member also helps keep access to dance open over the long term.

Keeping everything clearly separate

Membership contribution and donation are two different payments.

The membership contribution secures your membership. A voluntary donation is additional, without anything in return and uses a separate payment reference.

  1. Membership contribution separately

Payment reference: Membership contribution 2026 – Name

  2. Voluntary donation separately

Payment reference: Voluntary donation 2026 – without receiving any benefit in return – Name

  3. Transfer directly to the club account

The public donation account is equally available to members and external supporters.

We issue a formal donation receipt for donations over €300 and, on request, for smaller amounts as well. We need your full name and address. The required membership contribution remains separate and is not a donation.

How the comparison range is calculated

The range combines a conservative package comparison for three weekly classes with publicly listed regional block-course prices.

  1. Lower bound: Dance Cube lists three weekly classes from €110 per month. That equals at least €1,320 over twelve months.
  2. Hourly comparison: €89 for seven hours gives about €2,225 for 175 hours. €115 for eight hours gives about €2,516 for 175 hours.
  3. No additional commercial teaching value is assigned to the practice evening.

The comparison describes only the mathematically available time volume and published prices. Teaching concepts, trainer structures, venues, levels, replacement options, holiday rules and additional services differ. It does not equate concepts, quality or other services.

Prices in the linked sources checked in July 2026. Providers may change prices and services at any time. StyleStep reviews and documents these prices regularly.

Keep it open together

You pay €50. You receive space to learn, dance and belong.

If you can carry more, your voluntary donation keeps this same access open for others.
